Kate is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of New York. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Smith College and has provided therapy to adolescents, adults, and families across a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.
Her approach is grounded in psychodynamic and relational therapy, with a strong commitment to trauma-informed, affirming, and client-centered care. She integrates tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices to support clients in meeting their goals. Her work is guided by the understanding that mental health is shaped not only by personal experiences, but also by the systems and cultures that surround us. She strives to create a space that is compassionate, collaborative, and responsive to each person’s unique story.
